This place is great. It's always clean and ,Susan, the manager is on top of things over there. She is helpful and thoughtful. She often brings down a bottle of water or a snack to me, if I'm working in the storage unit for a long time. I would highly recommend to anyone in Westlake/ BeeCaves area. Cant beat the location or customer service.

I would like to praise 2 people, Susan and Kevin. I have worked primarily with Susan, at this location, for a couple of months now, and she could not be more accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful. While Susan was on vacation I worked with Kevin, and he also was extremely helpful and friendly and set me up with a third unit. Both Susan and Kevin are an absolute pleasure to work with. Over the last 10+ years I have rented two storage units and a wine unit from Stor on Bee Caves. The facility is always properly cooled and clean. I ran out of time trying to find a place to live in Austin by my move date. Therefore, I had to put my things in storage for a short while. I called all over Austin and this was the only available place with climate control with the unit size unit that I needed. Let me just say, Todd was AWESOME! This was the smoothest and only problem free part of my move. The facility is in a beautiful part of town, very easy access and I felt completely safe. And the view! My goodness, the view is beautiful! I know the view doesn't matter when choosing a storage unit, but when you've had a crazy day moving from one city to another and some of your furniture was damaged during the move... the view gave me an instant woosah moment.

Stor Self Storage on Bee Caves Rd. is not your run of the mill storage location. I've been other places to seemingly save a couple of bucks, but this place is a cut above, and deservedly so. Check your prices over the long haul. The manager Eric, who is top-notch, lives on the premises with his family. The staff's dutiful nature and attention to detail, is akin to having a storage concierge. Eric's zeal and attentive nature, treats a role one would assume to be a mundane dead-end position, into that of a career. A truly first class operation!

The Bee Cave Road location for Stor Self Storage is terrific! We have had 2 storage units there in the past year and feel our belongings are completely secure and safe. We had a billing snafu with our bank and the staff was wonderful -- they called us directly to let us know payments weren't coming in and were understanding and supportive in helping us get it resolved. It is easily accessible, clean, and a great location.

For a storage unit, above all I'm looking for safety and value. This location provides both in spades. The storage units are located behind multiple locked gates, and the place doesn't give the feeling that your unit's neighbors are able to just knock down the shared wall that many other storage units in the area seem to have. It's a new building (built in 2005 I believe), and the whole place is spotless and clean-feeling. Heck, the climate control is probably more steady than my home's!
Finally, the current manager (Eric) was very helpful in walking me through the whole leasing processes, as well as explaining all the relevant details and showing me around the potential units.
If you're looking to rent a unit in the Austin area, definitely check this place out. It's barely 20 minutes from downtown (even in traffic), and is a great place to store your extra belongings!
