How much notice needs to be given when I move out?
We require a 15 day written notice before you move out. Our staff will go over that process at the time of signing.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
All you need is a Government issued form of ID (example: driver’s license, state id, or passport)
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, we rent on a month to month basis unless the customer requests it. However, we offer discounts for customers who sign a lease for a year or longer.
What about insurance?
We offer low cost insurance options for your unit. Ask a Stor Self Storage manager for more details.
Does someone have to be in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. We offer a separate set of ours for accessing your storage units.
How do I make a payment?
You can either pay in person, through the mail or on our website. You may also sign up to have the payment automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly.
What forms of payments do you accept?
Checks, Cash, Money Orders, VISA or MasterCard
Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
Yes, here at Stor Self Storage we have boxes and all your storage supplies.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use our Space Estimator on our website or call one the manager at the location you are looking to rent and they will be able to assist you.
Can I just stop by to view the facility and storage spaces? Or do I need an appointment?
Stop by anytime between the hours of 9am and 6pm Monday – Friday or 9AM – 3PM Saturday. The Plfugerville location office hours are from 9AM – 6PM on Saturdays. The office at all of our location is closed on Sundays.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
We encourage tenants to bring their own locks at time of move-in; however we also have locks available for purchase on the property.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, Explosives, Flammable liquids, Toxic materials and Perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions of a specific item.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
Yes. You are welcome to use the complimentary carts to move in.
