When can I move in?
Once a lease agreement has been issued and your ID has been verified, you can move in any day of the week within our tenant access hours 6AM – 9PM. Please visit with our Storage Manager should you need to extend access hours during your move in.
How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
We require a 10 day written notice before you move out. Our staff will go over that process at the time of signing.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
All you need is a government issued form of ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. We offer a separate set of hours for accessing your storage units.
How do I make a payment?
You can either pay in person, through the mail or on our website. You may also sign up to have the payment automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly.
What about insurance?
We offer low cost insurance options for your unit. See location for more details.
What forms of payments do you accept?
Checks, cash, money orders, VISA or MasterCard.
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No. Our rental lease agreement is on a month-to-month basis.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
You may bring your own lock at time of move-in; however we also have locks available for purchase.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use our Space Estimator on our website or call our manager for assistance.
Can I just stop by to view the facility and storage spaces? Or do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during normal store hours. If you need a special time, please call the location to set it up. Our store hours can be found below or on the location page.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables are not allowed. Please contact us if you have any questions on a specific item.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
Yes. We have complimentary carts available for your use at each of our locations.
Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
Yes. Here at Stor Self Storage we have boxes and all your storage supplies.
