Ustore is a hidden gem. It is a great place to get all of your packing and moving supplies. The fact they also do postal services is an added bonus. You can buy your stamps here, send overnight packages, everything you can do at the post office, without the long lines. Todd, the manager, is always friendly and so helpful. LOVE this place which I use instead of the post office for my mail service needs (ie. non-Amazon shipping, stamps...anything I have to pay for). Todd & his staff are awesome...great customer service! I recently had to ship a large framed art print and wanted to do it as inexpensively as possible. I was having trouble finding a box and Todd recommended a local place since he didn't have one. When I returned with the box and artwork, he gave me an estimate but suggested UPS might be cheaper. I went to the one nearby on W Slaughter (near Alamo Drafthouse) and they, indeed, quoted me a lower price. However, when I returned with the boxed/taped item, the new price was now double! ($57 vs $115). They admitted employee error but didn't offer to make it right. When I asked for compensation for their error, they only offered the measly 5% discount which is their "give-away" for AAA members (advertised on their door).
I returned to Stor Self Storage and was thrilled that I could mail my framed print for only $85 which included the same amount of insurance and transit time as UPS. Thanks, Todd & Staff!!

We needed space to move a few things from our home for a few months and working with Todd was great to get a feel for what size unit we needed and if we needed more how would that work. It was extremely easy, and I felt reassured that he has our best interest in mind and did not try "upsell" us to a bigger unit if we did not need it.

OK so there is Customer service, and then there is great customer service! This bald manager at Circle C storselfservice absolutely knows how to provide great customer service. Todd and David provide great customer service every day! They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They won’t just lease you a storage unit, they will lease one to you that you truly need, one that truly meets your needs! They also handle the post office portion in their store, they are busy nonstop every day, however, being busy does not prevent them from assisting their customers in anything they need. This facility is kept spotless, on the main floor and all the other floors of this facility. The restroom is always very clean, and this is so very important to customers! If there was a star rating of 10 or more I would absolutely select it.

Let me just say that I never thought I would want to write a review for a storage unit, but wholly cow this place is great and worth every penny. We only needed storage for a short time while we staged our house for sale and Todd took amazing care of us. He made sure we had everything we needed, offered me water when I was dropping off or picking up and encouraged us to park as close as possible to get our stuff in and out. The dolleys were sturdy and large so I was able to get a bunch of stuff in and out in one trip. Everything was clean, cool, and easy to access. And again I can't say enough good things about the service, Todd really is the best, he has great stories, remembers who you are, and is _always_ ready to help. If you need to store things, this place can't be beat.

I have had a unit there for 7 years, and I could not BE more pleased. Todd and Erik are wonderful! They bend over backwards to be of help. There are so many reasons to use STOR at Circle C on Slaughter Lane, and no downside that I have found. Last summer I moved some boxes into a nice facility elsewhere, but was so uncomfortable with the strong pest control odor that I went back to STOR and rented the only unit available at the time. Both Todd and David helped me secure that space and Todd alerted me when the larger ground floor unit I wanted became available. Switching over was easy, and I've enjoyed the clean, well-lighted, odor-free space which has a strong security system. The previous facility cost somewhat less but I would pay the difference again without hesitation. Plus, these two fellows always are considerate, respectful and patient, no matter how many questions or changes I presented to them.

Moving is always stressful and I moved to Austin three days before the winter storm. My shipment was to arrive a week later. I cannot begin to describe how responsive and kind Todd Dunn was. He called me late in the evenings to assure me that everything was in hand. This place was the best storage facility I have ever worked with. I was helping some friends move and everything about the day was going wrong. On top of it all we had to move a three bedroom fully stocked house into a second floor storage unit there because it was the only thing available at the time. But Todd who is one of the managers/employees there was extremely kind and not only spoke to us kindly and helped us anyway he could, but he even found us a unit on the first floor to save us tons of time and effort! 1) I was blown away by their customer service! From the moment I walked in I was kindly greeted and was given a tour of the different storage options. Todd, the manager, clearly has a lot if experience in the storage business and was able to clearly communicate the strengths of their facility. They just put in new systems that have increased overall safety, and made the application process and rental agreement very streamlined.
2) The prices are competitive with other locations, yet the cleanliness factor is fantastic! The floors in the storage units were spotless.
3) The lighting in the hallways are motion censored, which made me feel quite safe and cameras are plentiful where no one can be on property without creating a digital footprint.
4) Todd is someone who clearly values building relationship with his customers. He’s upbeat, humorous, and helpful.

I often use the mini post office inside in the Stor Self Storage off Slaughter Lane in SW Austin. Fast, clean and convenient. The current manager, Todd, and all the employees provide excellent service. Recently, paying for package, I carelessly left a $20 bill on the counter. Todd found it after I left. When I walked in next time, he went over, opened the register and handed me back my $20: "Missing this?" And indeed I was. But I never expected to see it again. What a great guy; made my day. I have not used their storage facility, but based on everything I see when visiting, and how they treat their customers, I would go there first.

There were no units initially available in the size I needed, but Todd D., the manager, took down my info and promised to call me as soon as one opened up. He estimated it would be about a week to 10 days. Well, he called me that same afternoon and said one became available! This is a great place to safely store your furniture and other stuff (junk). Todd and David are professionals who are courteous and helpful, and the facility is spotless, the lights work properly, the password pad works perfectly, the website for bill-paying is great, and their moving carts are clean and plentiful. I recently had an issue in obtaining access to a newly acquired storage unit. It was on a Sunday when the office was closed, I had movers already en route with my property and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to access the new unit as I didn’t have the paperwork with the correct elevator access.
Just when I thought I was out of options, Todd, the manager appeared and immediately took charge and made sure I got access.
Had he not been there I would have had to rebook my movers and pay several hundred dollars to make another trip.
Throughout the process, Todd was courteous, respectful and very professional.

Easily my favorite storage solution I've ever utilized. Proximity to my house is an obvious plus but the main reason this gets 5 stars is the kindness of the crew they have. Todd, David and co always go above and beyond to be of assistance. I utilize Amazon Marketplace as a secondary source of income (selling records/CDs) and ship packages daily from the in-house USPS store... Now's a good time to mention this location also has a pretty much full-service USPS station. That element alone is enough for the 5-star review. It gets a little busy during Christmas shipping but even then you're probably looking at 1/3 the time of the main PO around here. On any normal day, you're able to get in and out extremely quickly. It's a painless USPS experience, if you can believe that. Todd & David almost feel like family at this point and can always be relied on to help when I have some sort of issue with shipping. Honestly can't recommend this place enough. It's the rare storage/USPS hybrid that completely works for and with its customers.

Have used Circle C Stor Self Storage for many years while living overseas. We desired a secure, temperature controlled and clean place to store our personal items until we returned. We were always impressed with how clean the interior storage space was ... on every visit I always did the "white glove" test on the storage unit door and always came up spotless. How they maintain this level of cleanliness in the dry dusty Austin environment beats me ... but keep it up. The front office team of Todd and David were always helpful and responded promptly to all email interactions.
In the spirit of continual improvement, while there were always plenty of carts available for transferring items from ground level, a couple of slightly larger carts would be helpful when moving in / moving out to reduce the number of trips.
Overall, five star facility, staff and value for money.

Being a DJ going in and out of town from place to place doing shows, parties, events and recordings you use a lot of different equipment and all. Keeping you equipment in a hotel is usually not the best and safest way to secure your investments. While in Austin I looked online and Stor Self Storage came up and I went down and talked to the Manager named Todd and he gave me a variety of different options for my equipment. Walked me around the facility and even gave me suggestions for my next visit. He was not only customer service oriented but he really cared about my needs. While walking around I saw not only a well designed facility but a very clean and customer welcoming facility. When I'm in Austin again, Todd and Stor Self Storage has my business for life and i have even recommend my entertainment and athlete friends to do the same.
